DAVID LARSON, DPM

David Larson, DPM, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Larson enjoys working with adolescent and adult patients to find effective foot or ankle relief.   


Dr. Larson pursued his medical education at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. He then went on to complete residency training at St. Francis Hospital before joining an exclusive fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center in Ohio. 


Prior to his medical training, he had the honor of serving in the United States Marine Corps for six years. Through his time in the military, he was able to excel through the ranks, and was selected as a platoon commander.


As an Arizona native, Dr. Larson is dedicated to bringing quality foot and ankle care to residents in Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area. He looks forward to working with you to find the best treatment option, whether you require conservative or surgical approaches, to restore healthy feet and comfortable movement.   


Dr. Larson delivers the individualized care you need to recover from foot or ankle pain. He is a fellowship-trained and highly experienced surgeon in complex foot and ankle reconstruction and revision, total ankle replacement, foot trauma surgery, as well as minimally invasive procedures like ankle arthroscopy.  Patients can receive help with common conditions such as arthritis (joint pain), plantar fasciitis (heel pain), and hammertoe. As a leading physician in foot and ankle surgery and treatment, Dr. Larson is also passionate about serving the athletic community as a sports medicine provider. As someone who has led an athletic life himself, he understands the importance of working in collaboration with athletes to help them return to the activities they love and enjoy.
